  • Comment: I ordered one of these based on the reviews I had read. When it arrived, it did not fit. One of the tabs was already bent. I tried but was afraid I would winid up breaking the tab right off so I gave up, ordered another one, and returned the first one. Amazon was great, so was the vendor, it was a no muss no fuss return. (reminds me I better make sure I have been refunded the $$$ ) Now, does the new one keep the fingerprints at bay? YES. Will the netbook balance on the legs without tipping over? Only some of the time. On several occasions, I don't use the netbook that often, but on a couple of the occasions that I have, the netbook has tipped over on it's own. I am about to toss the bottom part of the device away. Bottom line I would not recommend this cover unless you only plan on using the top. I hope this review helps someone.

  • Comment: I purchased this item for my 1005 PE. It arrived promptly and the package was labeled for 1005 HA. No matter how hard I tried I could not get the bottom to snap on. The top fit perfectly. I did not return the item because it was not worth the hassle. When I critiqued the company in my review they emailed me with two tips: take the battery out before installing and push gently on the bottom cover while installing. This did not work. I informed them of this result and have heard nothing back from the company. I have been using computer accessories since home computers became available. This cover does not work.

  • Comment: I received my hardshell case and was expecting it to be harder to put on based on the reviews I read. However, I found it helpful that others passed on their ease of putting it on. I had no trouble at all. It went on just fine. I like the clear as I can see the lovely royal blue color of my netbook! The feet that hold up my computer are not that sturdy but they seem to work fine. I am pleased with this product. I feel like my computer is protected.

  • Comment: I bought this for my new ASUS eeePC 1005PE and it covers the netbook top and bottom surfaces nicely, but with the way the screen opens on the netbook, the little flip-up tabs on the bottom make it fairly unstable and prone to tipping back, which can be annoying if you are trying to type.
