  • Comment: If you want professional features, pay a professional price. In this case, I already used an earlier version of iPhoto, and wanted the newer version of iMovie, as the '08 version was terrible. I used iMovie '09 to slap together a quick photo slideshow, and it worked well enough to project the finished product in front of 200 people at my wedding.

    Not an epic win, but for me, it got the job done.

  • Comment: I love all the programs in this package, especially the updates to iWeb and iPhoto. Read what the changes are on apple's website. The only thing I haven't gotten used to yet (and not sure if I like) is the new iMovie. It looks way different and I feel like I have to learn how to use it all over again.

  • Comment: I like iLife and use it frequently for managing my digital photos. I don't see much difference from the prior version (iLife '08) that I had on my iMac, so if you are happy with iLife '08 I wouldn't run out an purchase this version. It was a good product then and it's a good product now. My recommendation is that Apple offers discounts for customers upgrading from a prior version.

  • Comment: I found the entire suite of programs to be well done and easy to use. I had the older version (08) and was happy with it. I work with kids at school sometimes and they had this version, so to keep up to speed, I upgraded. I also think it's easy for anyone to use and the price for what you get is great.

  • Comment: My computer tudor said I had to have it. After 3 months of having it, I really found I LIFE it to be something I could live without. The upgrades to Iweb and Iphoto are nice but I reallyu dont find them much of a big deal. The Iphoto upgrade is not working as well as described and kind of a pain. I do not use I movie too much and I do not use garage band. All in all, I wouldnt buy it again. IWORK is good value though.
