Comment: I've already bought two of this kind in the past 6-8 months. This works only for a couple of months at its best and starts failing with loose contact and stop working one fine day. This is so irritating. I would rather go for an HP genuine power adapter.

Comment: I bought this after my old charger stopped working. It is better than the original because the cord has been changed so that the pressure put on it no longer wears it down and eventually bares the wires like what happened with mine. Works great.

Comment: I was amazed to see the product go bad in just few months of purchase. It produced sparks on one end and it went bad. This is my second charger gone bad. Not sure how many more chargers I have to replace
