- Summary: Lousiest product I ever bought
- Comment: You'd think that a company with as much experience with touch screens as Palm,
would make them usable. Not so with the tx. First one developed dead spots almost Immediately
then came the calibration errors. This piece of junk cannot be accurately. No difference
after they replaced the screen and the on off switch. I went through their tech service
department and they kept wanting me to hard reset and that didn't help. I can tell em it's a
software flaw, but they don't admit it. Guess they'd rather have disgruntled customers.
Even if you're a palm addict... bypass this offering. It's a waste of good money and
almost useless.

- Summary: Great working machine.
- Comment: I have owned my palm for several years now and have never had any problem with it's software. I have read other reviews stating that this particular system is known for crashing with a complete loss of information. This has never happened since I have owned this product. I currently use it daily at work with the program epocrates - it has never let me down. I have even dropped the palm several times without damage, although I do have mine wrapped in a stainless steel rhino skin cover. After several years, I feel that I made a great purchase - even if my TX dies tomorrow.

- Summary: Palm TX
- Comment: Works as expected, arrived in great shape as stated. It replaced a life drive that was failing.
It took a bit of reasearch to get it to work with Windows 7 64 bit.

- Summary: Dead Digitizer
- Comment: I bought this gadget and it was excellent at the beginning. After a year of use and conveniently after the warranty was over, the touch screen went erratic. Touch on an area and it picks a different location, touch the same area and it picks an area even further away. Draw a straight line across the screen and it scatters short broken lines allover the screen facing all directions. An attempt to calibrate takes you on an infinite loop. Contacting customer service was so annoying as they told me I dropped the product or spilled fluids on it which never happened. I have searched online and discovered this is a common problem with Palm TX, in fact there's a company I found specializing in selling TX screens which should tell how common this problem is. None of the other software suggested to fix this problem solved mine. For anyone reading this review to consider whether or not to buy one, pay attention to those reviewing after over a year of use to make a better informed choice.

- Summary: Can't live without it!
- Comment: I've been a Palm user for years - this is my third Palm model of PDA. I store everything in there, especially with the SD expansion slot (If they upgraded to a high-capacity SD slot, I'd be even happier). I watch movies and tv shows, listen to music at work, and play games and use memo apps while on the bus or train. With the wi-fi I can check schedules and my email downtown while waiting for said transportation. Best investment I've ever made. I like the screen size better than most new smartphones, and the fact that one can use a stylus, pen, or fingernail to tap the screen rather than needing actual skin contact makes typing in characters on the keyboard much more efficient. I plan on keeping a TX for a long time, and then buying another!
