  • Summary: Extremely good for the price.
  • Comment: Very very good an easy to use. Connect USB receiver to the PC and you're pretty much good to go. Very comfortable keyboard and not loud at all. The mouse could be a little better, it doesn't go too far from the receiver but I just wanted to get rid of so many cables and it does it's job pretty well. Definitely recommended if you're looking for something cheap and simply to use.

  • Summary: Worked plug and play
  • Comment: Using with Ubuntu 10.04. Just plugged it in and works great. Volume controls all work. Numeric keypad works. Home icon works in Firefox at least. Haven't tried to program others to anything useful yet. Range seems around 6 feet but that's all I need for this computer. Mouse seems calibrated well for me with out of box default.

  • Summary: Great buy
  • Comment: I needed to replace my Microsoft 5000 keyboard. I liked it when I first got it many years ago, but it's just too big and I never used any of the extra features. Since I use so many different computers, I choose what I need with my mouse. I'm just not used to hitting a button on the keyboard to pull up my emails, for example.

So I needed a simpler keyboard with a nice feel. The Logitech provides that. Also, the USB remote sensor is less obtrusive than the Microsoft one. The mouse is nothing fancy at all, but for now, it's fine. If I needed a mouse for design, I would spend the money on something fancier. But I prefer to use my Mac and my Wireless Mighty Mouse for that anyway. I paid $42 for this keyboard at Staples. I needed to see and touch it before I bought it and I needed it right away since my old keyboard stopped working (no, it didn't need new batteries...I tried that first). Sorry Amazon!

  • Summary: Nice keyboard
  • Comment: It came quickly and works. The only thing I don't like about it is that occasionally one of the fingers on my left hand will stray, hit a key and I open up a new web browser or other document. That's a bit annoying. Supposedly there's a way to fix that, but I haven't looked into it. Other than that, I've had it for a month and it's worked fine.

  • Summary: From a MacBook Owner's Perspective
  • Comment: I use a early 2009 13in MacBook which is connected to an external Samsung monitor and this set of keyboard/mouse.

    I couldn't be happier.

When I'm at work, I actively miss it.

One of my biggest concerns when purchasing thing was the inability to ALT-TAB, or in a Mac, Apple+Squiggly my way through programs. It works with this. You use the Windows key as the Apple button, and can easily tab between programs as well as windows.

Perhaps the best feature: I use VMWare to concurrently run Windows 7 on my Mac, and it switches seamlessly between being a Mac keyboard and a PC keyboard. Using the Windows key, Alt, and Tab, I can navigate programs in OS X, different windows of programs in OS X, switch over the Vista, and switch between programs/windows there, all without using the mouse.

Finally, I've owned this for several months, and not once have I lost connection.

Mac users, don't worry about anything. This device is built for us. Well, not really, but you get what I'm saying.

    Enjoy!
