- Summary: Great 3D navigation tool
- Comment: This is a great little navigation device. It does take a little learning but it is very intuitive and can be used in conjunction with your regular mouse. I'm using it for SketchUp but it works in Photoshop too. I'm relatively new to SketchUp so I've yet to learn all the things this toy can do. It definitely moves smoother than a scroll wheel on a mouse. I'd say it's a must to have.

- Summary: Very nice
- Comment: I use 3D Connexion, Standard Edition, with Google Earth, usually in conjunction with the regular mouse. It's a lot handier than the mouse-driven controls alone. I use my left hand, and although I'm right-handed, the device works smoothly and easily.

- Summary: Space Navigator
- Comment: Superfast delivery. Outstanding product; I don't know how I got by without it. For CAD and graphics, it's like going from the horse and buggy to a Ferrari. 3Dconnexion SpaceNavigator SE (Standard Edition) 3D Navigation Device USB ( 3DX-700028 )

- Summary: cool stuff, a little wild at first
- Comment: I'm still on the learning curve, this tool is seamlessly intuitive to use with google earth, but in 3d studio max it takes a bit of tweaking on the settings and a bit of practice and skill to get it working just fine
I downloaded the latest driver from the website, but I had a little problem with the control panel, I tried to open it the normal way, but no dice, instead, when you press one of the side buttons, a configuration tool appears, it wasn't mentioned in the instruction manual, so I spent a good amount of time fooling around trying to get the control panel to work
it has a decent weight, it doesn't move around your desktop
there are two things that bother me, I use a cintiq as second display, and when I'm working on it and want to tweak the settings, the configuration window always appears on the left display, so I have to press a button on the cintiq to switch displays, drag the window to the left and switch back again, every time I want to change something, it's annoying
And the real reason this didn't get a 5 star review:
NO SUPPORT FOR MUDBOX? WTF? seriously WTF??

- Summary: Works well but . . .
- Comment: It worked as advertised once I downloaded the latest driver. The one in the box did not perform on Solidworks 2010. I'm surprised by the ease of use, it's compactness, and it's weight. It stays where I put it. For my needs, a very nice product.
